In June and July, Copenhagen offers something that the studio doesn't have in winter: light that lasts, and a world outside the door that is full of material. This camp involves both.
Some of the three mornings are spent outside — gathering, observing, collecting. Some are spent back in the studio, working with what was found. Leaves, stones, bark, water, light: the natural world as a collaborator, not just a subject. Children learn to look closely at things before they make anything from them. That's a skill that doesn't stay in the studio, the kids carry it with them.
The work made across the three days forms a whole — a piece, or a set of pieces, that came from somewhere real.
All courses are taught in English.
